Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Droproll at droproll.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Droproll is a film camera and developing service. You load a film stock, shoot frames in the app or send in frames you already have, and we develop the roll and hand the frames back to you.

Developing comes in two lanes. The standard lab is free, requires no account and no payment, and returns a roll in approximately 3 to 5 days. The express lab is paid, costs $8 a roll unless stated otherwise, uses machine developing, and normally returns a roll in under 15 minutes. Times are estimates and not guarantees.

2a. Roll Links and Retention

When a roll is developed we give you a link to it. That link is the only way to reach a roll that is not attached to an account, so keep it. A roll link stays valid for 30 days from the day the roll is developed. Rolls attached to an account remain available until you delete them or close the account.

Rolls you have shot but not yet sent to the lab are held in your own browser's storage on one device. They are not on our servers, we cannot recover them, and clearing your browser data or changing device will delete them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account & Wallet

You can use the standard lab without an account at all. If you do create one, it is identified either by an email address you have verified with a sign-in link, or by a cryptocurrency wallet address, or both.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email inbox and of your wallet. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to either.

5. Payments & Refunds

The standard lab is free and involves no payment of any kind.

Express-lab payments are made in USDC on the Solana or Base blockchain and are verified on-chain before a roll is developed. Due to the nature of blockchain transactions, all sales are final. Refunds may be issued at our discretion if the Service fails to develop a roll.

Promotional codes and $DR balances apply to express-lab developing only, and cannot be redeemed against the standard lab, which is already free. $DR has no cash value and may be changed or discontinued.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to process and store them for the purpose of delivering the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use your photos for any other purpose without your consent.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with the operation of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Droproll name, logo, and Service design are the property of Droproll. The developing pipeline and the film stock presets are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations. Developed results vary between rolls, stocks and lanes. Express-lab developing is performed by a machine-learning model, and its output is not identical from frame to frame.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Droproll shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
